Skrautvål sameige lies in Nord-Aurdal and borders Øystre Slidre to the north-west, Etnedal to the south and south-east, and Gausdal and Nordre Land to the north-east. The licence covers lakes in the main watercourse, with good facilities for recreational fishing and good stocks of brown trout and perch. The sameige rents out a cabin at Fullsenn (906 m above sea level), and anyone who buys a licence can borrow a simple fishing hut for free.

- The rules on inatur say that fishing is banned from 5 September up to and including 10 June, and the summer licences are valid from 11 Jun to 5 Sep.
- On its own website the sameige says that from 2026 the season runs from 1 January to 4 September in all lakes, brooks and rivers, and that ice fishing continues through the winter.
- The day licence for ice jigging is valid from 1 Nov to 30 Apr.
- The licence covers rod fishing from the shore.
- You can fish in Skrautvål sameige and in the parcelled-out part of the sameige, but not in Sæbu-Røssjøen.
- Net fishing in Fullsenn is for co-owners only.
