One licence for the state commons in Verdal and Værdalsbruket's land. Brown trout dominates, while Arctic char is found in Innsvatn, Godbekktjern, Høysjøen, Kvernsjøen and some smaller lakes. Grønningen lies at 484 m above sea level. Note that salmon-bearing stretches are excluded, and that Vera and part of Innsvatnet are not covered.

Advisory

- In Grønningen net fishing is limited to August.
- Verify locally.
- The licence covers rod fishing, ice fishing, otter-board fishing and nets on Værdalsbruket and the state commons in Verdal.
- Salmon-bearing lakes and watercourses are not included, up to and including Kløfåsfossen in Helgåa and Dillfossen in Inna.
- The licence does not cover Vera or Sandvika estate’s part of Innsvatnet.
- In Grønningen fixed gear is banned outside August, with a maximum of 3 nets per licence, a minimum mesh of 32 mm, and a total ban on netting closer than 100 m to the outlet and in the river Glunka.
- Elsewhere it is a maximum of 1 net per licence outside the named lakes.
- Young people aged 16 and 17 pay half price, children under 16 fish for free with a rod.
- Verify the rules with the mountain board.
