Folla fluefiskesoner (Alvdal)

Newly established fly-fishing zones in the Folla river in Alvdal, easy to reach from the road and the paths along the river. Crystal-clear water, rich insect life and good stocks of grayling and brown trout. Folla has a large catchment, which keeps the river full and stable through the season, and over the sixty kilometres from its source area at Hegglingen on Dovre the river alternates between gentle rapids, good pools and slow-flowing sections. Lower down it has cut deep into sediments and bedrock through a narrow V-shaped valley, with classic grayling water. The river system also holds bullhead, burbot and minnow.
