Nordre Elverum (Julussa og Ryssjøen)
A forest area in northern Elverum with fish-bearing streams and small rivers, of which Ulvåa and Julussa are the largest. Julussa flows north and has many fishing spots, for example at Brattveltdammen, a restored log-driving dam. Ryssjøen (286 m above sea level) is the largest lake, where the fishing committee thins out roach and perch and stocks fish every year. The area holds brown trout, perch and pike, and at Gammelbuen there is a jetty for anglers with disabilities.
