Atnavassdraget (Sollia/Rondane)

A large licence area running from where the Atna meets the Glomma right up under Rondane national park, across Stor-Elvdal, Folldal and Sør-Fron. The landscape shifts from bare high mountain to slow-moving river in the Atnsjø marshes, while the lower Atna drops through rapids and small falls towards the Glomma. Atnsjøen sits at 701 m above sea level and holds a good char population that yields fish up to about five kilos each year, brown trout hold almost every lake large and small, and the rights holder reports grayling of good size in the lower Atna. Atnsjøen is a 5 to 15 minute walk from the road with steep slopes along the water, while Setninga lies in a steep valley floor and is partly hard to move along.
