  1. A well-known Arctic char lake. The char often hold deep out from shore; small silver/red spoons from a boat work well.

  2. In winter Savalen is a popular ice-fishing lake, but the sport-fishing licence only runs 15 May to 15 September. Check for a separate winter licence with the fishing association before you go out on the ice.
