Gear and lures

  • Spinning

Lures in the lakes and in Glomma

Spoons and spinners in the lakes and tarns. Glomma holds pike, so use a wire trace there. Pike over 65 cm must be released.

  • Fly

Grayling and trout on the fly

Class 4-6. Nymph in the current and dry fly when fish are rising. In the Tunna fly-fishing zone, only fly fishing where the line carries the cast is allowed, with barbless flies.

  • Bait

    Worm in brooks and tarns

Worm and float in the tarns and along the brooks, a good choice for families. Permitted tackle is fly, worm and lure.

Lures and flies that work here

  • Mepps Aglia sølv str. 2–3spinner
  • Sølvblink 10–15 gspoon
  • Nymfe (naturlig)fly · Barbless in the Tunna fly-fishing zone

The fish here

  • Brown trout

Active at first light and dusk. Lures and flies. Fish along edges, inlets and rocks.

  • Grayling

Loves nymphs and small dry flies. A discreet presentation in clear water. Common in Lågen.

  • Whitefish

Hard to catch on lures, usually taken on net or worm. Rarely a sport target, but present in many waters.

  • Perch

A shoaling fish. Small jigs, worms and spinners. Coloured water can take louder colours.

  • Pike

Big, visible baits. A wire trace is a must. Shallow water early and late in the season.
