Vulufjell statsallmenning (Rondane)

The Vulufjell state commons lies on the east side of Lågen in Sør-Fron and Nord-Fron, and the whole commons is inside Rondane National Park. No roads lead in, but from Kvamsnysetra, Fryvollan and Søre Eldåseter it is a short walk into the area. The commons has 3 lakes and 20 km of river with brown trout and Arctic char, and Fremre and Indre Vulutjønn, at 1063 and 1072 m above sea level, are good fishing lakes with a fair size of both species. Bågåskardstjønna holds plenty of small char, and among the rivers Eldåa in particular is counted as a good fishing river.

    Light spinning in the Vulutjønn lakes

    Small spoons and spinners for brown trout and Arctic char in Fremre and Indre Vulutjønn, which hold a fair size of both species.

  • Fly

    Fly in Eldåa

    Among the rivers, Eldåa in particular is counted as a good fishing river. Class 4-5 with nymph and dry fly. In rivers and streams only rod fishing is allowed.
